“A creative adult is the child who endured.”
Everything holds a form in some or the other way. Form is not about what it carries but about form itself.
Forms can be three dimensional (3D), and it has two kinds: geometric that is man-made form and natural form and that is known to be organic. Form can be measured, from top to bottom i.e. height, side to side i.e. width, and from front to back i.e. depth that is known as a digital form or physical form. Presence of light and dark also define forms. It can be defined by the existence of shadows on surfaces or faces of an object. You can also create a form by merging two or shapes, and it can be improved by texture or colour. Based on their usage, they can also be decorative or useful. Form can also be demonstrated or created
Considering a digital design, for an example, think of form as the object you’re designing for; so, if you’re designing for a mobile device, the phone is your form. (1)
